After moving back to Redding, I wanted to reconnect with the community that shaped me in the best way I knew how—through storytelling and photography.

Built by Redding is a Bloomline Collective series dedicated to documenting the people, places, and ideas that make this city what it is. Through long-form journalism and documentary photography, each story offers a deeper look at the individuals whose work, creativity, and passion are helping shape Redding's future.

Rather than focusing solely on where to go or what to do, Built by Redding explores the people behind the places. It's an ongoing collection of stories that celebrates the character of the city through honest reporting, thoughtful photography, and the belief that every community is defined by the people willing to invest in it.
